A Daily Devotional About assessing what you have learned from life: James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. (NIV) What have you learned today? What have you learned this week or this year? What have you learned from life? These three questions are some of the most important questions you can ever be asked or answer. God has given all of us the ability to look back and reflect. God has given all of us the ability to learn and grow. God has given all of us the ability to correct our mistakes. If there is anything that could drive God crazy seeing us make the same mistake twice would certainly drive God crazy. If there is anything grieving God the deepest, seeing us make sinful mistakes in the first place grieves Him in His heart. Every day, before you pray, look back on the day and answer to God about what you learned. Pray for God to give you wisdom about what you have experienced in the past. God put you here to grow and learn. Growing and learning, even growing and learning from your mistakes, brings incredible joy to God's heart.
