A Daily Devotional
About being alone: Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus
cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"--which
means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"(NIV) We have all felt forsaken.
When we feel forsaken, Christ understands us because He has been forsaken too.
We have all been lost and unable to find our way home. Perhaps you feel forsaken
and lost in this present hour. If so, remember Christ knows every ounce of what
you are feeling and experiencing. In His supernatural ways, Christ abides within
us if we invite Him in. When the pain of our life runs so deep we seem to lose our
soul, Christ lives within us and despises the pain we feel. Although we may
think we are alone, especially in moments of our pain, we are never alone. We
must not be deceived. Christ is over us, under us, all around us, and within us
every moment. |
