A Daily Devotional Romans 15:3 For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me." 4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. About how encouragement leads to hope.. A person or a people without hope will not last. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are forever within us talking to us and speaking words of hope. They all point to a bright, full, dynamic, and beautiful future ahead of us whether we are nine or ninety-nine years of age. The prospect of heaven, a glorious future of love and unbounded energy helps us move forward day after day. The beautiful prospect of heaven causes us to want to reach out and call others to heaven's glorious hope. |
