Psalms 23:5 …my cup runneth over. (1)

The cup of life we carry in our heart is not half empty or half full. Our cup runneth over because we cannot hold the love of The Infinite One. When we use our spiritual eyes we can see that He, The Christ, The Lord of all, is the pourer and the content of the cup. When we hold our cup of suffering out to Him then He is good to us and pours His love over us. The Lord is kind and just. He pours into our cup of tears such blessings our tears dry up and our cup overflows with His compassion. In the middle of a day full of our wanting and needing, we have a cup overflowing as our wants and needs disappear. Our heart overflows when we go to Him, for even in the presence of enemies we can have His peace. In the face of hurt, we find blessings. In the middle of poverty, we find the richness of His joy. In desperation, we find His infinite hope forever overflowing.
