peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest. 19
Though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely, 20 how
blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream, and letting your cattle
and donkeys range free. (NIV) Within us and around us
there are often times of war. We have arguments, disagreements, and tension in
our life. There are conflicts in our life and in our world. Some conflicts may
never be resolved during our lifetime. Because of conflicts, we may have daily
doubts and worries taking away our hope and joy. However, with God there is
always a way to find inner peace. With God, we can rest in His love and care,
because no one loves us and cares for us like God. Christ came into the world to
show us He loves us. Christ came to earth to show us, by His sacrifice, God the
Father loves us. When we are assailed from every side with doubts, worries,
fear, and turmoil, we can find inner peace when we truly place our heart and
life in the hands of God. God is our resource in times of trouble. God is our
resource when we have nowhere else to turn. |
