satisfied… Eccl 5:10 Whoever loves
money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his
income. (NIV) Our
world could be facing financial catastrophe. We could face a crisis in the
financial world because men and women who had money wanted more. The more money
these men and women gained, the more money they wanted. If you love money or
material things, you will never have enough money or enough of any kind of
material good. The love of material things is a trap from which you cannot
escape unless you are willing to give up all you have as you follow Christ. The
true lovers of wealth in the world cannot give up their wealth, for they love
their wealth too much. Material wealth has a grip and power over people.
Material wealth can possess the soul in demonic fashion. In our world full of
materialistic messages, you must strive to live each day for Christ. Live each
day to do His will rather than chasing material things or money. |
