About the peace of loving God's law:

Psalm 119:165 Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. (NIV)

Peace and security are vital and needed in our world. Peace and security are vital because we live in a very insecure world. We live in a world where crime and violence are commonplace. Glory is in store when a person, family, state, nation, or world loves the law of God. The love for God's law produces a glory in this life as well as a glory sending us home to heaven. There is in the love of God's law a certain invincible component the world does not understand. When we love the law of God, we become spiritually invincible because in the love of God's law we cannot go wrong. When we truly love the law of God, when we love the way God wants us to live, we cannot stumble and make mistakes like we make mistakes in the world. In truth, our life is full of mistakes. We all make them. However, when we love the law of God we cannot go wrong.

The law of God gives us a peace in a world full of war and turmoil. The law of God gives us a security in an insecure world. The law of God gives us peace in a world coming against us. The law of God gives us a way to see through the worst of times. The law of God gives us a shield to defend us against the killing arrows of the evil one. Praise God for His law! Praise God ten trillion times over for His law!
