A Daily Devotional About the power to heal from hurts Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; (NIV) In our age of modern medicine, when we do the miraculous in operating rooms and with medical treatments, we lose sight of the truly miraculous. The truly miraculous part of our life is God's innate healing power within us. God's innate and miraculous healing power within us enables us to heal from hurts in our heart, in our mind, in our body, and in our soul. God visited upon our physical frame His miraculous innate power to heal from cuts and wounds. God visited upon our heart and soul His innate power to heal from emotional heartbreak. We take our innate healing power for granted. The healing love of God works in everyone. If God did not love us then we could never heal. If God did not love us then any injury, no matter how slight, would spell our doom. However, God does love us. God imbued in us the ability to heal from our physical and emotional injuries. Most amazing of all, God placed in us the power to grow stronger and be better after our injuries. |
