A Daily Devotional About seeking the Lord's touch… Luke 5:12 While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." 13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" And immediately the leprosy left him. (NIV) The Lord is your creator. The Lord touched you and formed you inside your mother's womb, thus making you a child of God. God even knew you before you were created. You have your being through God and His touch upon your soul. God is the supplier of your life. All persons were brought into being through His touch. Because God brought you into being and gave you life, your Father wants to see you in Heaven. Through God's touch upon your heart, and His touch of love so divine upon your soul, you can someday see Jesus face to face. In God's love, He tries every second to touch you, especially in your hour of need. If your heart is willing and open to Him, God will show you His love is infinite, His mercy is without end, and His compassion knows no bounds. If you ask Him, God will come into your heart and touch you so you know you are truly resting in His arms. Seek His forgiving touch and He will remove the blinders from your eyes and you will see. |
