A Daily Devotional About spiritual mechanics… Luke 11:34 Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness.35 See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness. 36 Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be completely lighted, as when the light of a lamp shines on you." Jesus compares the workings of your physical body to spiritual matters. There is within you spiritual eyes. As with your physical eyes you can control where you look, you also have the same control over your spiritual eyes. Christ does not force anyone to look for Him or at Him. During the hectic times of each day you can stop for just a few seconds and look toward the true source of light and love who is Christ Jesus. When you have Him living in you then your soul is illumined, your life has light, and you can see your way around the many obstacles you face each day. |
