A Daily Devotional About the power of light and life: John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the
people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will
never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (NIV) You have probably had times in life when you were lost or disoriented. In times when you are lost, Christ's power of light and love can bring you home. The power of Christ's light and love for you is His power of love helping you build strong bonds to Him and to others in His name. The power of Christ's light and love gives you the strength to see past the disasters of life. The power of Christ's light and love makes the darkness of life disappear. The power of Christ's light and love can make the lonely and weary path of life easier to follow. His light and love give you the power to scale the steep cliffs of adversity. When the pain of the moment causes your vision to grow dim, the power of Christ's light and love gives you new vision and new hope to inspire your soul. |
