A Daily Devotional Written By God

About standing firm…

This is what the Lord says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. † Tomorrow march down against them. † You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.' " † all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord. † Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. † Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
