A Daily Devotional Written By God About the Lord and confidence… Justice will dwell in the desert and righteousness live in the fertile field. † The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever. † My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest. † A man who lacks judgment derides his neighbor, but a man of understanding holds his tongue. † A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret. † For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure. † Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, † for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared. † Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act. † In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
