A Daily Devotional Written By God About the One who is in you… The wise inherit honor, but fools he holds up to shame. † Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.† I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching.† They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. † The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. † But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. † You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. † They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. † We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
