A Daily Devotional About
when God no longer exists for you… Psalm
17:7 Show the wonder of your great love, you who save by your right hand those
who take refuge in you from their foes. 8
Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings 9
from the wicked who assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me. (NIV) God cannot die. God cannot cease to exist. God cannot be erased. God cannot be deleted. No matter how far a person, a family, a state, a nation, or a world fall away from God, God still lives on. No matter how fast you run, you cannot run away from God. No matter how far away you travel, you can never get away from God. If you get to a point in your life when you think God no longer exists, you may be right as far as you can see, but you may not be able to see very far. For in your perception, in your spiritual vision, you may be blinded and unable to see God. However, you can indeed see God even when you are in complete darkness. To see God when your spiritual vision has been blinded, you must first hunger and thirst for Him. When God seems to no longer exist for you, He seems not to exist, not because of Him, but because of you. The idea God does not exist because of our own thinking and belief system is a hard idea to accept. However, there is hope. There is always hope to bring God back into your existence because God is always living near you, within you, above you, below you, beside you, and all around you. God’s will is for you to come to always carry Him within your heart. God’s will is for you to always see Him, know Him, and love Him more than life itself. God’s will is for you to always have every moment as a moment in your life when He is totally alive within your heart and soul. |
