About winning out against the savage wolves of darkness…

Acts 20:29-31 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears. (NIV)

Every person alive, all the people who now walk the earth, will succumb to the attack of the grim reaper. If succumbing to the attack of the grim reaper is not bad enough, the evil one will send savage wolves to attack and maim the people of God's flock before death. Look around you. Look at how the savage wolves of darkness and evil are ravaging the world! There is crime, war, depression, violence, hatred, sin, and unrighteousness in nearly all places. Evil is running rampant over the earth and will continue to do so until Christ returns. The truth about this matter of savage wolves and evil is being distorted as you read these words. What do we do? Where do we go? How do we cope and win out? What we must all do is pray at the foot of His cross. Where we must go is to a faith community, even when the faith community is continually attacked. We cope and we win out by living holy, godly, righteous lives. We win out when we love others and we love Christ. We win out when we forgive. We win out when we reach out to others showing them the compassion of Christ through our actions. We do all this in hope, for we know Christ will come back…and soon.
