About becoming a child of God…
John 12:36 Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light."
To trust God or trust Christ means you must trust in someone you cannot physically see, hear, or touch. However, you cannot become a child of God without this "physically blind" trust. You can trust Christ to be with you through all eternity if you are willing to extend your heart, mind, and soul out to Him and give all of your heart, mind, and soul to Him. When you have accepted Christ into your life and you have turned your life over to Him then you become His child. As His child you will live forever in His light.
