About being afraid to be the person God wants you to be�

We are all persons who have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, God did not make us to be sinners. God made us to be persons who reflect His love, care, hope, and compassion. To live in weakness and live a life of sin because we are afraid to be the person God made us to be is not the will of God. Living in fear and not expressing God's will in how we think, feel, and behave is never what God wants for us. Indeed, there is a place in the Christian life for fear. Godly fear keeps us from doing wrong. Godly fear keeps our life from falling into a sinful abyss. We are to live in fear and trembling over doing what is wrong. We are not to live in fear over doing what is right. When we accept Christ, all of our fears about being who God wants us to be should melt away in His love and grace. God created you to be His child. God wants you to express your childhood in Christ without fearing the consequences of being your true Christian self.
