About being blessed and filled:

Psalm 65:4 Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple. (NIV)

We are blessed and filled to overflowing if we remember His friendship. If we live obediently according to His commands, God blesses our life. Even if we live in dark days and it seems the dark times will never end in our life, there are still benefits and blessings to living out an obedient life. When we do not live according to His ways, we have trouble, problems, heartaches, and pain. However, when we admit God's wisdom is within our heart, and we admit His wonderful truth is really in us, we are then compelled to live like God wants us to live. When we live like God wants us to live then we are soaked to the skin in His showers of blessings. Our life is then filled to overflowing with His joy, His love, and His peace.
