2 Corinthians 5:20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.

About being God’s ambassador…

God needs to be praised and glorified in your life because you are His ambassador. You are God’s messenger or representative on earth. When you praise God by how you act and live, you show His love and truth to others. God needs you to be a living witness to His power of love and redemption. Your everyday actions speak a thousand words to people who may never listen to a sermon or go to church. Christ’s death on the Cross was an action He took to give all of us a chance to be His ambassadors and live in eternity with Him. The way you live your life or serve out your ambassadorship can glorify Christ or it can diminish Him in the life of others. How you live your life is passed on and passed around in the world. It has been estimated we are only five persons away from every person on earth. This week you may only have contact with two people, but those two will contact others, and the glory of Christ or lack of His glory is passed on. This week, pass on an extra helping of His love and peace.
