A Daily Devotional
About being led by God:
Romans 6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14 For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. (NIV)
Love calls us to be led by God rather than led by self or Satan. Love wants to dominate our life and we must be willing to let love dominate. Christ wants to live with you and within you, but He can only do so at your invitation. When you ask Christ into your life, a stream of living water pours down from heaven into your heart. Today, in all the mundane and humdrum activities of your life, let the outpouring of Christ's living water fill your heart. Today, let the pouring out of Christ's love, mercy, compassion, and presence be your guide in making decisions. Let the pouring out of Christ's love be your guide in living your life in Christ's name.
