A Daily Devotional

About being near to God:

James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. (NIV)

Signal sending your love to God gets an instantaneous reply. Every time you tell God you love Him, He tells you He loves you back. This automatic sending of love back and forth between you and God can make all things possible in your life. Sending love back and forth between you and God can heal every hurt, erase every doubt, and give life where no life exists. The signal sending must start with you because God is always sending you messages He loves you. He is always holding you in the palm of His hand. He always trusts you to do His will. He is always watching over you. Your contact with God does not depend upon God doing something for you. Your contact with God depends upon you doing something for Him. Your contact with God depends upon your sending God a clear message about how much you love and adore Him.
