You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. � And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. � Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. � Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel? � Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. :
