About being young in Christ:
2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. (NIV
In our physical life, we are going in two different directions at the same time. Our bodies are wasting away as our hair gets gray, our skin wrinkles, our step becomes slower, yet in our spirit we can be constantly renewed and reborn. Every day we are spiritually reborn and we are a new person with a new hair color, new skin, and a young person with a spring in our step. Spiritually, we get older and yet we are eternally young. We may be getting old in our body yet we are young in spirit. With Christ, we are young in His spirit, young in His love, young in His forgiveness, and young in His mercy.
