About blaming yourself for everything..
1 Peter 2:12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. (NIV)
To blame yourself for everything going wrong is an unrealistic and unchristian activity. To be apologetic for what is not your doing and not your fault is also unchristian. All the bad things happening in the world are not your fault. To blame yourself for circumstances not of your making is not healthy because blaming yourself reduces your power and keeps your weakness going. Christ does not want weaklings. Christ wants people empowered by His love and working in His will. When you place the blame for everything on your own shoulders, you are not living in the reality of the way things are. No one is to blame for everything. Most importantly, in the time you take to place blame upon yourself, you could have been solving or at least attempting to solve real issues at hand. When you destroy what God has made in you by blaming yourself for everything, you are not being a blessing to God. All of us are to live our life trying to do everything we can to glorify God in strength and in power.
