About when God knows best…

Matthew 1:20 …and said, "Joseph son of David" (NIV)

God knew Joseph's name. Of course, God knows everyone's name, which should be no surprise. However, when Joseph woke up from this particular dream with the angel, Joseph remembered the angel had used Joseph's name. The significance of the use of Joseph's name should not be lost on any of us, for our God is a personal God. God not only knows your name but He also knows about every hair on your head and every cell in your body. God knows your every defeat and your every triumph. When God speaks to you, in any way God feels best, God speaks to you personally, for God is a personal God. When God tells you He loves you, God is sending this message to you in the most personal way possible. God touched Joseph's life in numerous amazing ways. God has also touched and will touch your life in numerous amazing ways. If Joseph had been given a choice, Joseph might have chosen another way for God to speak. However, God knew best how to communicate with Joseph. In the same way, God knows best how to communicate with you, no matter how you might want God to deliver His message.
