About the real power of Christmas

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. (NIV)

The power of Christmas is not the excitement of lights and tinsel. The power of Christmas is not the good feelings when we receive a gift. The power of Christmas is not the hustle and bustle in stores and shops. The power of Christmas is the unending infinite love God poured over the world when Christ was born. The unending infinite love God poured over the world will never die. God's unending infinite love will never be erased from the face of the earth or erased from the universe. In the love God sent down to us, He has given to us a way to live in heaven. In all the trials and tribulations of this life, God sent to us a way to find the ultimate utopia of God's home we call heaven. This Christmas, look beyond what is obvious. This Christmas, look beyond your poverty to see Christ's wealth of spirit. This Christmas, look beyond your fear to see Christ's infinite protection. This Christmas, look beyond your present world to see His world beyond.
