About a Christmas treasure from the past.

The Story Of Our Lord's Birth

Some persons have Christmases they desperately want to forget. In Christmas memories for many people there is trauma, tragedy, pain, and suffering. When painful memories come into our mind at Christmas time, we need to go to Jesus the baby or Jesus the adult. We need to do whatever we can to get through the season by giving to others, regardless of how much we might want to avoid Christmas ourselves. Christ is our Savior born to give us eternal life. Christ has a life waiting for each of us where we will find perfection unlike any perfection we could ever know on this earth. We cannot explain how God works in every case, but we do know God has a mysterious way of turning hurt into love. In ways we cannot explain, God has the power to turn the bitterness and ashes of painful Christmas memories into a labor of love for Christ. We must remember God's healing love overflows in our heart at all times, not just on Christmas. Because God's healing love fills our present, we can build our life under His healing hand. With Christ walking beside us in any season, we can walk back into our past and find healing. Impossibilities for us, are no problem at all for God.
