A Christmas Daily Devotional

About God from above

The Story Of Our Lord's Birth

The angels from above announced the birth of Christ. In the dark times of life, people live under a dark cloud and are seeking good news about what lay ahead. Rather than living in darkness, people want to live under a bright Son. The troubles of life, the cares, the worries, and the gravity of life's seriousness can easily overwhelm us. Christmas and the Christmas season can make our troubles and worries even more serious because we get the message we are to be full of joy, when in our reality, we are full of dark thoughts. Jesus came into the darkness of our world as a Light for our path. Jesus came to earth to take away our sin, our troubles, our cares, and our worries. When we look upon Christ we are looking upon the person who replaces every moment of our darkness with a light lasting forever. There is no comparison between the size of our troubles and the gift of Christ's infinite love. There is no comparison between the cares of this life and the gift of our carefree days we shall experience forever when we see heaven.
