About when God spoke louder than words�

The Story Of Our Lord's Birth

We all want God to speak to us. We all want Him to boom out with His incredible infinite voice so we are bowled over by Him. We seldom get His audible voice. However, on the first Christmas, God spoke, not just by His words through the angels, but by His actions. God spoke to every person on earth on the first Christmas. When Jesus was born, God told every person on earth, "I love you." By speaking to us in this way, God cemented into history His greatest gift of love�His only begotten Son, given to us to be our savior and Lord.

Every moment God stands at the door of our heart with His Son standing beside Him. Every moment God knocks on the door of our heart waiting and hoping we will open our heart so He and His Son may come in to be with us. Once we have opened the door of our heart to let Him in, we no longer care if we hear His audible voice. Once we have opened the door of our heart to let Him in, we will hear Him speak to us every moment. We receive His gift of love by demanding nothing and surrendering all we have.
