A Christmas Daily Devotional

About keeping Christ visible:

The Story Of Our Lord's Birth

As much as we can, we are to use Christmas to keep Christ visible in the world. In a world of crude and rude non-believers, even these non-believers know about Christmas. Even non-believers know Christmas has something to do with Christ. Non-believers cannot live in total denial about Christ, for Christmas demands all of us stop for just a moment and think. In the growing non-believer world, where Christmas is about getting what you want or getting yourself a gift, Christ can filter into the hardest of hearts. Often times we have difficulty seeing how our little light for Christ makes any difference in the world. Yet, we must use Christmas as a form of outreach to those who refuse to believe in Him. We will not win every heart for Christ. However, our continual assertions of His love, shown by our gestures of kindness and generosity, can draw persons closer to Christ, even those who would turn away from Him. Even if we waved flags and posted billboards about Christ, no effort can match our quiet kindness when it comes to moving hearts toward His love and care.
