About your greatest gift:

The Story Of Our Lord's Birth

Your greatest gift does not come wrapped in pretty paper. Your gift does not come with a bow on top or even a name tag. Your greatest gift will never be found under a tree with ornaments and lights. As a child of God, your greatest Christmas gift is His gift of love welling up within your heart and overflowing to all those people around you. In your tangible world where you are inundated with advertising calling you to want and to buy what others think is important, His gift of love is your greatest gift you will ever receive. Your greatest gift will never wear out, does not need to be exchanged, always fits all the time, and given time, will carry you to a glorious new life in heaven. Your gift of God's love  changes everything in your life, even changing you and those around you. Our Lord is so good and gracious you need not ask Him to bestow His gift upon you, for He has placed His gift within you before you have a chance to ask. Truly, God's love within you is your greatest gift of all. Without Christ's gift of love, your life is barren, dry, empty, and dark. With His gift of love, your life is full, fruitful, and filled with a light and love not always known in our world of tangible things.
