A Christmas Daily Devotional

About being in the joy of Christ's love:

Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. (KJV)

Christmas, the "big day", will come and go as in years past. Some people are glad, some people are sad, and some don't care. If you missed Christmas Day, there was joy amongst the unwrapping and the festivities on Christmas. Jesus must chuckle when we sees us exhaust ourselves to honor Him. However, He understands. What He understands the most is the joy of our giving. Somehow, mysterious as our joy may be, He takes the joy of our giving and uses our joy to help us understand how much joy He takes in us when we give in His name. Christ spreads our joy around so the world is changed and kept under His protective wing�as much as we will let Him protect us. In the world there is darkness, but in Christ there is an infinite joy always sending the darkness away. Of all the aspects of Christmas, our Lord wants you to keep giving and keep the joy going all year long.
