A Christmas Devotional

The Story Of Our Lord's Birth

About Christ's gift of freedom:

When you are who Christ wants you to be, Christmas is year round in your heart. Christ came into the world to set you free. Christ came into the world to give you freedom. Christ came into the world to give you freedom from the terrible dark chains of sin's slavery. When you hold Christ in your heart, the chains upon your soul melt away.

When you hold an image of the Christ-child in your heart and mind:

In freedom, you can see forever.

When you hold an image of the Christ-child in your heart and mind:

In freedom, the limitations of your life are replaced by unlimited possibilities in His love and grace.

When you hold an image of the Christ-child in your heart and mind:

In freedom, the limitations on what you want to be are replaced by a vision of new days ahead full of His love and grace.

When you hold an image of the Christ-child in your heart and mind:

In freedom, you know you are loved beyond measure.

When you hold an image of the Christ-child in your heart and mind:

In freedom, you know you will live forever.
