About Christ's gift of vision to see Him:

John 9:25 He replied, "Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!" (NIV)

Unquestionably, we are blind. We are blind because of our sin. We are blind because of our adversities, attitudes, upbringing, culture, and numerous other reasons. When Christ was born, He brought with Him the precious gift of vision to see Him. When Christ was born, human beings then had a better idea about who God was and what God was like. We still have questions about God we cannot answer. God is still surrounded in great mystery. However, because Christ came into the world, we have a vision to see God and know His will. With Christ giving us a special spiritual vision, we can not only see Him resting in the manger, we can see Him walking among the multitudes. We can see Him healing the leper. We can see Him weep over the death of Lazarus. We can see Christ dieing on the cross. With the freedom to look at Christ we can see ahead in our life and we can see into eternity. We can see we have a place in the universe. We can see we have a place in heaven. We can see His beauty, His love, and His forgiving us of our sins. With Christ's wonderful gift of sight, we are no longer blind because we see.
