About God intervening:
Matthew 1:18 �but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. (NIV)
We read and talk about God intervening in the life of people. We read and talk about miracles of every kind and shape. What happened to ordinary people named Mary and Joseph two thousand years ago will not happen to us, but miracles do happen. What happened to Mary and Joseph has gone beyond Mary and Joseph. God in the form of the Holy Spirit touched Mary. God in the form of the Holy Spirit can touch you. Although you might never believe it, the fact you are willing to be a child of God is a miracle. Your willingness to be a child of God is a miracle because you have had and will continue to have a choice in the matter of believing and accepting Christ as your Savior. Everyone has a choice about being reborn in Christ. Everyone has a choice about becoming a new person in Christ. Everyone has a choice about giving in Christ's name. Everyone has a choice about being a blessing to others. To make the choice to be a child of God and remain His child is nothing short of miraculous when you consider all the dark power coming against you and every other person on earth. The dark power comes against you to not believe, to not accept, and to not raise up against sin. The dark power comes infect every heart. A miracle is visited upon us as we are touched by the Holy Spirit. A miracle is visited upon us when God intervenes in your life and every other life.
