A Christmas Devotional

About His birth to bring you peace:

Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (KJV)

Jesus was born unto you to give you a present time full of peace and a future full of peace. The peace on earth He brought to you may not always be apparent in a world of war and tumult. However, even in a world full of war and tumult you can find His peace. This Christmas, there will not be total peace on earth. This Christmas, there will be war, death, and dying over many parts of the globe. However, inside of you, inside your heart, you can find His peace when you go back and kneel down beside Him resting in a manger. Know above all things, His peace is with you when you are in darkness. Know above all things, His peace is with you when your world is turned upside down. Know above all things, you can carry His peace with you all the days of your life. His peace is with you because He loves you. His peace is with you for all time. Indeed, Christ has brought to you peace on earth.
