About
holding the baby Jesus who takes away loneliness:
Luke
2:6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave
birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a
manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Holding the baby Jesus produces in your heart a presence of God taking away your loneliness in the world. All of us are born as a single entity. Even if we are born with a twin or triplet sibling, we are still just one. No one else can walk in our shoes, fully know our every thought, or feel the depth of emotion in our heart. In the last analysis, we are born alone in the world. However, when we hold the baby Jesus, we are not alone any more. When we hold Christ as a baby, we become one with Him and He becomes one with us. In becoming one with Jesus, no matter where we are, we are one with Him. In becoming one with Jesus, no matter who we are, we become one of His children. In becoming one with Jesus, no matter what kind of trials we must endure in the world, we know we will be victorious in the end. In becoming one with Jesus, we find our heart soaring and we feel His joy and His peace on earth.
