A Daily Devotional

About courage to face the future:

Ezra 7:28 Because the hand of the Lord my God was on me, I took courage and gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me. (NIV)

Courage is needed to face the future. Courage is needed to face the everyday trials of life. Courage is needed to face the small things and large things of life. Fear, panic, doubt, and anxiety can attack us but we have a mighty God who brings us the power and love of Christ. The power and love of Christ comes to us and helps us find courage when we are afraid. The power and love of Christ helps us act in spite of being afraid. The power and love of Christ calls us to repent and turn away from our sins thus giving us courage. When we repent and turn to Christ, we find new courage to face every fear.
