About feeling like a victim when you are not a victim..
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (NIV)
To feel like you are a victim when you are not a victim imposes upon you a terrible and needless burden. Feeling like you are a victim when you are not a victim reduces your power, limits your thinking, and removes your soul from the presence of God. Feeling like you are a victim when you are not forces you into a position of weakness and passivity. Then, in this darkness, you can easily want others to rescue you when you do not need rescued. Feeling like you are a victim when you are not a victim runs counter to the life and message of Christ. In Christ, we are victors. In Christ, we have the victorythe ultimate victory of overcoming death. No power on earth can enable a person to live forever except the power of God reaching down and grasping our hand to take us home to eternal life. In Christ, we are not helpless. In Christ, we can forgive. In Christ, we have a power to overcome obstacles and move mountains. Feeling like a victim when you are not a victim totally disables the power of God in victory living in your heart every hour.
