A Daily Devotional
About the flowering of eternal youth
2 Tim. 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. (KJV)
Young at 80? We all know someone who is still young at 80. How can this be? We can all be young at 80 because being young is so much a matter of the mind. Being young is always a matter of looking forward. Being young at any age is always a matter of looking forward to great new things happening tomorrow and the day after and the day after that. Our eternal youth blossoms in us when we look forward with positive hope and expectation for what the future will bring. When we feel full of hope, our age, no matter the number of years, disappears. When we feel full of hope for the future, we remain excited about what the future will bring to us. When we feel full of hope, we remain eager to see a new day dawn regardless of our age.
