Psalm 25:15 My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only He will release my feet from the snare. (NIV)

We are all entrapped. We are all caught in a snare or trap from which we cannot escape except by the Lord's love and grace. The trap from which we cannot escape is the trap of death. We cannot escape this trap because death comes to us all. Not only are we trapped by death, we are trapped by our sinfulness and our desire to do what is not in the Lord's will. However, our vision of Christ can free us if we act on what we see. Freedom comes to us in every aspect of our life if we would but look to Christ. In Christ, we can find complete and total spiritual freedom. In Christ, we can find freedom from our worries, fears, and anxieties of daily living. We can find our freedom in Christ because Christ gives us a way to see into eternity. When we see into eternity we see how the shackles of our present moment are nothing compared to the glory just ahead in Christ's eternity.
