We sometimes suffer from self-imposed mediocrity. We can give less than all we have, yet we too often expect to get back more than we have given. When we truly serve Christ our Savior, His sacrifice inspires us to give more than we have. Sometimes we set our sights on earthly goals of a less than redeeming nature. Sometimes we ignore the goals God has set out for us, even when those goals and achievements are within our grasp. Too often, we pass over the greatness God seeks from us. We then sink down into our earthly ideas of success. God's goals and purposes for your life are far greater than you could imagine. God's goals and purposes for your life are filled with heaven's glory and praise. When you work to achieve God's goals and purposes, the windows of heaven open for you. His blessings pour out to fall down around you and around those you love. Because you are loved, you can find His fullest potential in your every minute.
