About God above us:

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV)
Some people live under a dark cloud. Some people live under a bright Son. There are times when the dark clouds roll in and we desperately want to see the Light. When trouble comes into our life, we often do not feel spiritual. We can be so besieged by trouble the idea of a loving God is difficult to accept. When we are in a time of darkness, we must remember to call out to God. We must remember God is love. Although dark clouds may seem to have covered you, you have a loving and giving God standing high above the clouds and within your heart. You stand every hour beneath a loving God who continually pours His love and kindness over you. The very nature of your God is to give to you. If God was willing to give His only Son so you could have eternal life, don't you think He would be willing to give you all you need when the dark clouds roll in? When trouble comes into your life, you can think God does not care about you. However, when trouble comes into your life, absorb the love in the above verse and kneel at the foot of His cross.
