A Daily Devotional
About God's gift of peace:
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my
peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your
hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
In the hour of your darkest distress, God will give you His most splendid and gracious gifts of peace. We do not always know how God gives us peace when peace is not humanly possible. However, we remain faithful to Christ because we know in every circumstanceno matter how troubling, the Spirit of God strengthens us. We know the spirit of God empowers us to always do the will of God. Christ's greatest victory and Satan's greatest defeat occurs when you remain true to the calling of God in spite of great suffering. Christ's greatest glory happens when, in your private agonies only He can understand, you remain in Him.
