A Daily Devotional

About God’s gracious gifts…

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (NIV)

How can the apostle even think such a thing when so many in the world were then and are now starving from not having food to eat? Each of us must come to grips with an essential truth about our life. We are all spiritual beings in addition to physical beings. Our physical bodies may hurt from hunger, or hurt from physical conditions or afflictions. Our physical bodies may have cravings. Ultimately our physical bodies may get sick and will certainly die. Our spirits, however, will live on. Our spirits will be presented with all things. In heaven, we will be surrounded by joy, peace, excitement, and spectacular sights beyond our imagination. We will have incredibly beautiful experiences we cannot describe. In heaven, He will give us all things as He will make eternity with Christ so wonderful.
