About God's vision:

1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." (NIV)

When God looks at you He sees you as His incredible creation who can change the world. God sees you as His intelligent being with unlimited potential to make the world a better place. One might think all God sees is your sin. God indeed sees your sin but God also sees the more important part of you�the important part of you Christ died to save. When you accept Christ, upon your death, your new unblemished soul sails toward your new home in Heaven. When God looks at you He sees the power and potential of your unblemished soul. When God looks at you, He also sees all your pain, your hurt, your disappointment, and the yearnings of your heart. When God sees you, He looks upon you with kindness, tenderness, and love in His eyes. We keep no secrets from God. We may live in denial about whom and what we are, but we keep no secrets from God. To God, you are His child�His child sometimes doing wayward things or sometimes doing His will. But God does not just stand back and look at you. God lives within you. God works within you to give you His peace, His love, and His strength without limits.
