The secret to a happy life may be no real secret exists. The non-secret to a happy life is happiness comes to you because of the gratitude you feel about who you are and what you do. Whether you have a life of peace and joy, even when there is suffering, is a matter of your being thankful while making choices about who you are and what is important to you. If thankfully doing the Lord's will in all you say, think, and do is your highest priority, these seeds of joy will germinate and produce His happiness in the form of joy and peace in your soul. If you continuously strive to serve Christ by giving away His care, kindness, and compassion, these seeds of joy will produce a harvest of happiness in your life. Happiness does not come to you via snail mail, e-mail, fax, or telephone. Happiness is the result of the kind of person you are�a person of gratitude for the blessings you have been given. When you are unselfish in thanksgiving, happiness is the result. When you are selfish, unhappiness is the result.
