About the healing encounter of giving:

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (NIV)

You give others healing by giving them an encounter with your personal love and kindness. You also give others healing by giving them an encounter with the love and kindness of Christ. In God's system of grace and love, what you give away comes back to you, including His love and kindness. Giving away healing love brings healing. Giving away healing love brings healing love back to you. Giving away joy and happiness brings joy and happiness back to you. Mind you, we must never ever give away anything to get something back because if you give away to get back, you get back only misery.

If we give away to get back, we give away for selfish reasons. There is no healing in selfishness. God blesses those who relish giving away for no reason other than giving away to glorify and magnify His love.
