Proverbs 4:25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. 26 Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. 27 Do not swerve to he right or the left; keep your foot from evil. (NIV)

There has always been the glitter and glamour of sin in the world. Sinful distractions of every kind assault each of us. Satan wants to draw us away from living on the straight and narrow path of life.

When our focus is upon living a devout and godly life, we are required to exert a concerted effort to not be distracted. Of course, the "talk" in this instance is a lot easier than the walk. To walk the straight and narrow path, we must keep our eyes focused only upon Jesus, do only what He calls us to do, and most importantly, be the kind of person He wants us to be.

You have within you the power to accomplish great work in the name of God. You have the power within you to walk the narrow walk, to not be distracted, and to stay away from evil.
